Day 1: (5th May 2014)
At 7.00 am, the participants assemble at a common point, where they will be met by our team and guide for a short briefing and then we drive towards Rift Valley. On the way we stop at a departmental store where you purchase aerated drinks, alcohol, biscuits, etc, for the next four days. We will have a stop at the Rift Valley View Point, which occurred due to a Volcanic Eruption, take quick photos, then proceed to Narok where you will see plantation of Wheat and Barley. While driving from Nairobi to Mara, since our accommodation, Keekorok lodge is located in the heart of Mara, we will drive almost an hour or so in the game park and we will have good chances of spotting animals. We reach our lodge in time for lunch. After lunch and a short leisure, we proceed for an evening game drive with a hope of spotting some Cats (Lions, Leopard, Cheetah). Other animals that we could look forward to seeing are herd of elephants and other herbivores. We will also have opportunity to sight a lot of bird species and we return to the lodge as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight at Mara Keekorok Lodge.
We stay at Keekorok Lodge, one of the most popular ones in the Mara. Keekorok is in the middle of the Mara and has amazing wildlife just around the lodge. Keekorok is also famous for the Hippo Pool which is located on the property. This is the only property which is not fenced and is a very existing place to stay.

Day 2 & 3: (6th & 7th May 2014)
The second and third day at the Masai Mara. After morning breakfast at 7.00 am, we will depart for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. We will explore the Masai Mara National Reserve, visit the Mara river which nearly borders Kenya & Tanzania. Here we have a chance of seeing crocodiles and we will have an opportunity to have our lunch under a tree in the plain Savannah surrounded by Zebras & Gazelles. After lunch, we look around stopping to photograph interesting wildlife and landscapes along the way. Our objective on the game drives will be to capture the Big Five – Cape Buffalo, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, and the Rhino. We will also look for the cheetah, not part of the Big Five, but one of the much sought after key species of the Mara. If we are lucky, we could also sight the Serval Cat. Other than these beauties, we will also get to see and photograph Antelopes like the Eland, Thompson’s, Kopi, and Grant’s Gazelle, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, etc. There are lots of birds too to be seen and photographed in the Mara such as the Ostrich, Secretary bird, Vulturine Guinea Fowl, Crested Guineafowl, Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture, Jacanas, Thick Knees, Plowers, Sandpipers, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, Hoopoes, Rollers, Barbets, Fly catchers, Starlings, Bare-faced Go-away bird, etc. After this exciting day long game drive, we return to the lodge as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight at Mara Keekorok Lodge.
Day 4: (8th May 2014)
At 7.00 am, after an early morning breakfast we proceed to Lake Nakuru Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch we go on the evening game drive. In this park chance of seeing white rhinos, lions, zebras and flamingos in the salt water lake. Lake Nakuru is famous for ‘tree climbing lions’ and also if we are lucky we could spot some leopards. Babboons are also in plenty and sometimes are more than willing to pose for your cameras! Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge Nakuru.

Day 5: (9th May 2014)
At 8.00 am, after breakfast, we will depart to Lake Naivasha, on the way at your right side we will see Lake Elementaita, which is a salt water Lake, Naivasha has a healthy fish population which attracts a variety of fish-eaters. Both Long-tailed and Great Cormorants can be seen, along with Fish Eagles, Pied Kingfishers & Black Herons feeding on the lake. Black Herons are one of the bird species which form a canopy over their heads with their wings when feeding. This is presumably to reduce the surface glare or maybe to trick small fish and insects into believing that they are a shady sanctuary. After lunch, we will have a Boat ride within the Lake to see family of Hippopotamus and a vast variety of birds, before returning to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
