We are excited to announce our next photography safari and workshop at Pench National Park at Madhya Pradesh. Situated about 2½ hours away from Nagpur, this Tiger Reserve is becoming popular in recent times and wildlife & photography enthusiasts are excited with the number of predators being sighted.
Tiger is the main of the cats in the park but however other wild animals such as leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, fox, striped hyena and wild boars are frequently seen. Other commonly seen animals are chital, sambhar, nilgai, jackal, porcupine, gaur, barking deer, spotted deer and the Chowsingha. There are more than 170 species of birds including several migratory ones. Some of them are peafowl, junglefowl, crow pheasant, crimson-breasted barbet, red-vented bulbul, racket-tailed drongo, magpie robin, lesser whistling teal, pintail, shoveler, egret and herons.
This four days photography safari & workshop will be handled and tutored by Matrishva Vyas who is a renowned wildlife photographer & conservationist. As part of the workshop during the evenings & breaks you will be mentored about the basics in photography. Your skipper will also help you sharpen your wildlife photography skills on and off the fields. Get on the safari and get richer with your knowledge and images. There is also a ‘photography competition’ during the workshop and you stand a chance to show your skills and creativity during the competition.
The tour begins on 25th May from Nagpur at 8:30am. You are required to reach Nagpur on your own. If you are reaching Nagpur the previous day we can assist you with accommodation at an additional cost.
