MANAGING DIRECTOR
Patrick Nderitu, the Managing Director of the company is the leader of the team. He is a seasoned safari expert with a plethora of experience in the tourism industry. Born and bred in Kenya, he is a professional wildlife and birding safari guide. With a rich experience of over 20 years specialising in field guiding and photography tours, he is ranked as one of the best, all time and most qualified tour guide having guided some of the best wildlife and photography safaris within parks and game reserves in East Africa. Having traversed the length and breadth of the various game parks in Kenya, his topographical knowledge is highly commendable and he knows most of the parks like the back of his palm. His passion and love for wildlife since childhood has been the driving force in his career thus attaining professionalism by studying guiding up to diploma level and also being a holder of a bronze level certification from Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association. He spends lot of man hours understanding animal behavior, tracks the animals and makes sure the day’s safari is well planned keeping in mind animal movement making sure the chances of sighting are high! He follows the breeze and scents of animals and he can even smell a cat in the vicinity! With his vast knowledge and years of invaluable experience, he certainly is the person you would wish to have with you in your jeep.

I travelled with Magicarpet to Kenya a few years back and it was one of the best trips I have had. The week I spent in the jungles of Masai Mara, Nakuru and other parks was an experience in itself. The tour was very well planned and every little detail was looked into right from the time they picked us up from the airport and dropped us back after a week. The places where we stayed were brilliant and the food was simply amazing. Ravi’s team is highly experienced and they made sure we were very comfortable all through the tour. I still remember the awesome dinner we had under the skies with the local music and dancing! I wish to go back again someday, God willing!!

Sammy Kaleku, a masai born in Mara and lived all his life with the flora and fauna there is a very zealous team member who just loves nature, the breeze, the mountains and the animals. From dawn to dusk he just spends his time in the bush and is ever enthusiastic and energetic when it comes to the safaris. Being an awesome photographer himself he is a great asset to those clients who are looking at the safaris from a photographic point of view. He exactly knows where to position the jeep, keeping in mind the lighting, the background and also predicting the animal movement and behavior. He is a very warm and friendly person and interacts with guests involving them in resonating conversations, and safeguarding them by giving timely precautionary advices. His knowledge about the game parks, history, culture and tradition of the various tribes is simply amazing. Conversations with him are highly addictive and you will just enjoy the day long safari and get back with a smile.
Ravi Hebballi
WILDLIFE ENTHUSIAST & WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER
Ravi Hebballi, a surgeon turned wildlife enthusiast and wildlife photographer is the other director of this company. Travel and photography has been a part of his life for decades and added to that, the love for the wild and nature has added to the cream. He loves to spend a great deal of time in the wild and believes that being in the wild is ethereal. He has been regularly visiting the various game parks in Kenya from the last seven years and is an integral part of the team. He is instrumental in planning the tour by spending a lot of time understanding the requirements of the client and makes sure the itinerary is designed keeping in mind their interests. During the safari too, he sits with his team every day and plans the next safari route and loves to make sure the clients gets to see the best. While on the job, he is an entertainer and involves conversations of various topics that would keep the client engaged. His mission of ‘connecting man with nature’ is very evident in the tours he plans and executes for his guests. As a professional photographer, he is a great asset on the field and will guide you and help you get those awe inspiring shots you once dreamt of.
